Yeah....I guess those reports about some of the workers that were working in killer radiation zones were completely false and none of them died....or maybe long-term cancer isn’t what killed them.

It is too early to see the effects imo.

This is loose terminology.
Radworker safety incorporates a combination of dosage, time of exposure and shielding.

I can get a “killer” radiation dose by swallowing certain watch dials. OTOH, I can stand a foot away from a spent fuel rod if I have a foot of lead and leaded glass between, without any ill effects whatsoever.

I’m thinking about long-term effects as well. Plus we’re looking at more than just cancer; for example, non-cancerous reproductive issues could arise as well.

Solid Tumors
14 years carcinogenesis onset, 20 years peak

Yup - Way Too Early
