Not all children raised by gay parents support gay marriage: I should know, I’m one of them
LifeSiteNews ^ | June 3rd, 2013 | Robert Oscar Lopez

The richest and most successful same-sex couple still cannot provide a child something that the poorest and most struggling spouses can provide: a mom and a dad. Having spent forty years immersed in the gay community, I have seen how that reality triggers anger and vicious recrimination from same-sex couples, who are often tempted to bad-mouth so-called “dysfunctional” or “trashy” straight couples in order to say, “We deserve to have kids more than they do!”

But I am here to say no, having a mom and a dad is a precious value in its own right and not something that can be overridden, even if a gay couple has lots of money, can send a kid to the best schools, and raises the kid to be an Eagle Scout.

It’s disturbingly classist and elitist for gay men to think they can love their children unreservedly after treating their surrogate mother like an incubator, or for lesbians to think they can love their children unconditionally after treating their sperm-donor father like a tube of toothpaste.

It’s also racist and condescending for same-sex couples to think they can strong-arm adoption centers into giving them orphans by wielding financial or political clout. An orphan in Asia or in an American inner city has been entrusted to adoption authorities to make the best decision for the child’s life, not to meet a market demand for same-sex couples wanting children. Whatever trauma caused them to be orphans shouldn’t be compounded with the stress of being adopted into a same-sex partnership.

Lastly, it’s harmful to everyone if gay men and lesbians in mixed-orientation marriages with children file for divorce so they can enter same-sex couplings and raise their children with a new homosexual partner while kicking aside the other biological parent.

I can only imagine the horror in a child’s mind at the moment he realizes just what he has in a same sex family

Two issues:

1) The writer is bisexual. What is the incidence of gay partners raising gay children, biological or adopted?

2) In addition to missing a mother and a father, what are children missing without heterosexual parents? I worked at a private school where are disproportionate number of the male faculty were gay. A long-term sub - married-came to work for us and the the boys gravitated to him in droves. It was clear they better identified with this guy. Just a thought.

Let us face it, the kid is for them, for their me me political meme, they are not there for the kid, but to satisfy and comfort their mentally ill delusions. There used to be places for kids, it was called a Monastery where they were raised as men by men. We see now why thy go after catholic sex scandals with an eye in definite hypocrisy.

I would guess that probably because most of the male students wanted to marry a female when they grew up. A radical suggestion in this day and age I know.

I went to a private school after high school as a post grad. I was 16 at the time. The private school in Ct also had an abundance of homosexuals and this was almost 50 years ago. The Dean and I had a disagreement when he put his hands on me and the Dean ended up ass over desk on the floor. Dad came up that night from New York and took me home. I enjoyed the football, the rest wasn’t my cup of tea. Goodbye Ivy League, hello Army. LOL.

Another sick example of young boys being victims of the same sex “family” experiment: Elton John.

Did those hapless boys HAVE a CHOICE to have “Adam & Steve” as their “Dads???”

This should be the true “pro-choice” movement: Give children the choice if they want to live in an “Adam & Steve” family when they’re old enough to understand the world, but don’t make victims out of really young children like this.

This is really, really disgusting that these innocent young boys had no say in the decision to be raised in a butt-plumber family. I’m sure the little kids are not happy with this.

Further note: Elton and his “manwife” do have a nanny, but wanna bet they chose a matronly aging beached whale instead of a younger, more attractive female nanny perhaps so that the boys don’t ever have an image of an attractive female family member as a role model for future interactions with women??

In other words, it’s almost as if Elton wants his boys to grow up to become gay.

“What is the incidence of gay partners raising gay children, biological or adopted? ..”

‘one-third of gay fathers’ families, and 58 percent of families of lesbian mothers, included at least one gay or lesbian child.

“Most scholars actually agree with the concept that gay people ought to be more likely to have gay children,” he told CNA in an Oct. 19 interview. “Even people on the liberal side of things actually pretty much agree with the idea that there are going to be social influences.”’

Perhaps that’s why they push for this so much and act like Linda Blair in The Exorcist toward those who leave the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. they want to increase their numbers and their dating pool.
