I think that would have been a pretty big event in Connecticut. I wonder why no one has written about it before or that witnesses came forward at the time who saw the flight.
Ohio has a stake in this too. Will they rename Wright State University? Will they reissue the Ohio quarter after removing the image of the Wright brothers’ plane?
Wright Bros. were white. So, I assume it is in vogue to write out of history the Wright Bros. and other whites. Perhaps they could re-write history and declare that the first in flight was, say “Tyrone Jackson Washington — a freed slave from North Carolina.
Or Dayton, Ohio for that matter. CT really has their heads up their behinds lately.
Hopefully the good folk in NC will mobilize and take out the trash in Conn and remove the restrictive gun laws after they take over.
