It’s not just Verizon...It will be all carriers, Verizon is just the first to be identified.
If this turns out to be true, I am beginning to feel that government won’t be reigned in by anything other than revolution.
I was being polite , As far as I’m concerned Bush was a liberal with an R after his name instead of a D.
I’m certain more phone companies than just Verizon were doing this. Why would the federal government stop with just Verizon? They would grab every phone call ever made.

I figured as much, but it just seemed strange that every single report stated “Verizon” and not “telecom companies”.

Yep... I supported Bush until I found legitimate reasons not to. He did some good things but he was a disaster as President and he and rove both own the obama debacle... they nurtured it and allowed it to happen unchecked.

I contacted Verizon today to ask them when my contract was up because I was not renewing (going prepaid). They asked me why and I told them “I have an issue with the government violating my right to privacy”, tho which they responded, “We have no choice but to comply with court orders”.
My response? “Well, I have a choice to use another carrier and I am going to exercise it”.
I have a feeling it’s not just Verizon though. We shall soon find out.

I think you’re right, but I wonder what company owns the obama phone contract. Can’t find it on the internet.
Also, people have smart phones. They call and text and do financial transactions. All sorts of things. What isn’t being monitored.

Many find this to be old news. If you are flagged, they have been listening for a long long time, regardless of the communications carrier.
But I agree with you, lots of pro trolls have used the tin foil hat battering ram to subdue truth.
Every carrier has been served with this mandate.
