I agree 100%, but remember all of the freepers salivating at what a great thing Shrub did was when it was passed? I had the effrontery to mention this was a bad thing (along with no child left behind and prescription drug give away) on the odious estrogen fueled day in the life of George Bush thread, and the number of whiney women typing nasty things about me while sitting in their wet chairs was truely discouraging.

Many of us warned them. Lots of times we got chestnuts like "why do you hate america?" just for pointing the bleading obvious, like this power being abused. It's not like their beloved gop is going to do anything more than some hypocritical harrumphing over this one.
Yes and I was somewhat supportive until they tweaked it. Bush was a disaster but kerry and gore would have been too... even worse. We must fight the enemies we have right now and make certain History writes the truth about all of these people.
