Celebrities provide us entertainment and escapism from the limitations of reality. But in real life, theyre still subject to reality, if barely, NRA News contributor Colion Noir says in his latest video. In the three-minute video Noir blasts Hollywood for its stars taking a stand against guns while its product glorifies violence.
These celebrities couldnt be more out of touch with reality. And then the arrogance, its just overwhelming, he says.
No ones saying celebrities cant have an opinion, he says later. But hypocrisy is hypocrisy. Somehow our culture has given celebrities a pass on being hypocrites. These celebs literally utilize people with guns to protect themselves, but are trying to tell us we cant use guns to protect ourselves. I wonder how many actors would stop acting in violent movies if it would save just one life?
There is more violence in your average 2 hour Hollyweird film than a 24 hour day in Chicago. Hypocrites.
You clearly don't read the Chicago papers.Better to say "in 99% of this nation's cities and towns".
What I hear from liberals is that violence in movies, video games and rap lyrics does not lead to violent behavior but seeing someone smoke in a movie will lead children to smoke. Odd dichotomy there. And, over the top, realistic gun violence in movies doesn’t correlate to an actual increase in violent behavior as an adult, but kids playing with plastic toy guns does. Don’t figure.
Message from Hollywood:
“We don’t care how many of the LITTLE PEOPLE get killed by thugs or the government. As long as we, the beautiful people, are protected.”
The vast part of the movies these hypocrites are making use guns, chain saws, knives, etc, and are so violent that I refuse watching them in my home.
Also has a teenage girl, Chloe Moretz, using every four-letter word in the book. She appeared in the first movie at age 11, using the same foul language and with another hypocrite, Nicholas Cage. Good on ya, Mom & Dad.
Nope, Hollywood doesn't glorify violence. < /sarc>
Body Count Index = Total Loss of Human Life
I recently watched the new Arnold Schwarzenegger & Bruce Willis movies and think the combined BCI was well over 300.
