I used to work with a young Jewsh guy that was a punk rocker. He was a solid lib and full of the punk ethos. But he was very smart. He just never was around another viewpoint.
Over the months we talked a lot of politics and I put to him the core tenets of conservatism and had him compare them point by point to the REALITY of what liberalism has done. I asked him which was truly ‘establishment’.
I did not fully convert him, but he most often agreed with many conservative values more than he did lib henceforth. It made a difference.
Congratulations Norm ... what success have had has been after they vote for obama.
As an old school punk, I remember the good ol’ days when punks were libertarians or blatantly non-political.
