Jeremiah Wright did his thesis for an M. Div at Chicago Seminary, which has been notorious for liberalism and Marxism and the social gospel for decades. More shockingly, his thesis for an M. Div. was on Islam - not Christianity if I recall correctly.
Also remember listening to an interview in which a seminary student during the initial election contacts Wright’s church and inquires if being a Muslim would prohibit him from gaining membership and he was told in know way would it and that there were plenty of members with that variant of delusion; come on down.
