Anti-Israel college students will trek to a scenic campsite in upstate New York this summer to learn how to launch campus boycotts against the Jewish state at a program subsidized and run by one of America’s largest Quaker faith groups.
The American Friends Service Committee “We Divest Campaign Student Leadership Team Summer Training Institute” describes itself as a “five (5) day intensive program for campus [Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions] organizers—those with campaigns already running and those hoping to get one launched in the 2013-2014 school year.”

These camps are nothing new, in fact i’m pretty sure Germany had some for the Hitler youth decades ago...

Who are the instructors at this training camp; Members of Hezbullah or AlQuds? Will Quakers learn how to use an RPG and set IEDs?

Apparently those who see fit to curse Israel (and blaming them for all of the “Palestinian’s” problems and promoting “divestment” are indeed cursing Israel) have missed a critical portion of the Holy Scriptures which are supposed to be our primary guidance:
Genesis 12:3 “...And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

I don’t mind being tagged as a “Christian Zionist” or even as a “Messianic” (which nearly everyone loves to hate) - I’m used to it. So what if the majority of politically correct “Christendom” damns me to hell; the Muslims do it all the time, and I suspect that a lot of Catholics politely do it under their breath as well. Now a whole bunch of the “Protestants” have lined up with the apostate Babylonian establishment religion’s Scribes and Pharisees in their judgement and condemnation. It’s what they do best.

It’s just a shame that a Faith tradition founded on gentle compassion, community service and trust in / obedience to God has been co opted into a political special interest group pouring contempt and hatred onto a Nation which might not be perfect, but after all these centuries remains as near as I can tell the home of a remnant of God’s Chosen People - the “Apple of His eye”.
Have these Churches abandoned the Holy Bible as their charter? Are they relying on some other source of authority - like the Quaran or the “Thoughts of Mao Tse Tung” these days?
Despise, hate, and persecute the Jews and Israel at your own eternal peril, “church”.
