Many single parent mothers with 5 kids, by 5 different men....which one, and who will be called “daddy”. Sad state of affairs for these kids, when they don’t know who their father is.
Note to self: Always include the phrase “to you and yours” in celebratory posts.

I was an exceedingly fortunate girl because my father showed his love for me and his approval of me. There was NO way I could have ever acted immorally or illegally or stood for abuse from anyone because my father simply made me feel his approval. I’m not expressing myself well, but if only fathers knew what effect they have on their daughters, they’d BE THERE for them. And they’d show their approval.
The father is the source of a person’s moral values, and that is why the left is doing all it can to eliminate the father: no jobs for men, repressive divorce laws, painting White Christian males as the source of all evil, discrimination in jobs, government-contract preference to women, etc etc.

I hope he no longs feels that church is an OBLIGATION; but a way to separate ourselves from the world for a few precious moments and give thanks to the One who has the power to rescue us from it.
There is a comment at the site that slams O’Reilly for misrepresenting history in his wrong headed reference to Crockett abandoning his children. I’ve always believed O’Reilly to be a closet liberal.

My father, was:
prior to WW2, an U.S. Army officer on the surveying team for the ALCAN Highway;
during WW2, he was a Merchant Marine, aboard tankers bound to Murmansk;
after WW2, he joined the U.S. Air Froce Reserve, as a Flight Mechanic, activated to active duty regular service in 1956, and stayed active duty, in various career fields, until 1968.
He was, when home, as early Air Force TV shows have depicted - gone much, the ruler of the house, period.
He taught me a lot........
