If the law supposes that, said Mr. Bumble, the law is a assa idiot. If thats the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is that his eye may be opened by experienceby experience.
- CHARLES DICKENS, Oliver Twist
No good deed goes unpunished!
It is ok for Green windmills kill thousands ...
During the Bill Clinton days Hillary visited somewhere near an Indian Reservation. Some supporter gave her a “Dream Catcher” —a Native American artifact. It included a decorative EAGLE feather. ONE feather.
They PROSECUTED HER...! A felony.
It was a big story about 12 years ago, I recall.
The American Spectator did a big piece on it.
Keep an eye on this one...might be one of those Tea Party radicals.
Yeah, he should have tossed the eagle into the nearest windmill.
I’d love to know how this turns out, to see if he is given more leeway than the kid with the half eaten pop-tart.
Henry said he planned to take the bird, which he named Freedom, to the Indianapolis Zoo.
I believe I've spotted the problem, folks. If he'd named the eagle "Obedient State Serf," his offense would have been overlooked.
Considering what is going on in this country lately, including stories like this, a better name for the bird would be "Serfdom".
Did the eagle look like a gun?
He should have called wildlife officials who would have properly euthanized it. /sarc /spit
Welcome to the transformed America Are we there yet?
No mere human may touch the king’s property.
A technical violation, no matter the intent and even outcome, so off with his head. Last time he tries doing good to an eagle in distress, I bet.
So he violated the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act by protecting a bald eagle?
DemocRATS claim they can talk to animals. Maybe they should ask the Bald Eagle how he feels about this whole fiasco.
God our government is soooooooooooooooooo stupid and depraved
Death culture rides again.
Liberals keep their minds so open that their brains have fallen out!
SPLAT!
There's just something philosophically wrong about that sentence.
My personal experiences with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the state fin, fur, and feather departments of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Washington leave me with the impression that a good percentage of the “game wardens” are power mad wannabe cops with severe personality disorders who should not be trusted with guns.
Their interests are not with the welfare of the wildlife but rather in enforcing inane laws that make life difficult for their enemies, i.e. We the People.
