Is truly a racist or is she just a culturally ignorant old woman? Regardless of which, the hurtful words she spoke can never be unspoken. The damage has already been done to her image and to the African American community, especially her fanbase. But how does President feel about the latest controversy surrounding her use of the N-word and other racially insensitive behaviors?
Paula Deen
Barack Obama
Deen reportedly called Obama the N-word around her employees, alleges the now-infamous lawsuit against her. However, she campaigned for Obama back in 2008 and even made a friendship with . Why would a racist support a black man for president? Michelle Obama
It seems the problem here is that Deen comes from an out-of-touch attitude that is ingrained in Southern culture. She may not personally feel racist or want any harm to come to people of different races,

Her apologizes were torture to watch & her food is unbearable & her show the few times I've seen it had her son on. The two with their "son" & "momma" talk was irritating.
The lefts’ War on (successful) Women.
That woman has the scariest teeth I’ve ever seen.
I’m more offended that she voted for the POS. Actions speak louder than words.
And its OK for the N....’s to call whites “Honky”?
Seems to me, the first attack didn't work so she got Imus'd. I will not join in on that, no matter how much I disagree with what she's done.
Seen to coming = seen it coming. Dang spell check :(
The great Clinton's and their filthy mouths..Now all you Dem's go out and vote for the trash even though she says what she thinks about you..
Paula Deen had a target on her head..The fat butt Michelle saw to it she got paid back..This has the Obama’s prints all over it..
Paula Deen, meet Juan Williams.
So, let’s see if I have this straight: what two consenting adults do in their own home is nobody’s business, but a woman can lose her livelihood over what she says to her husband in private? Is that right?
The apologies of sports figures must be accepted, but an apology need not be accepted by the politically correct Food Network?
It’s the same as Polish jokes, Poles are the only ones that can tell them, or Catholic jokes, Catholics are the only ones that can tell them.............
I just think she is a fat trashy slob, serious people don’t talk that way
Don't bother to buy one of her name brand pies, unless you really, really like crust.
And let’s not forget the rap group N.W.A....
I’m sure that Paula’s name-brand products will soon be gone, just like her Food Network show. I’ll bet the Food Network people even scrub her recipes from their website.
Coupla years back, I learned a new word (New to me). It's what white kids call other white kids who try to act black..... "Wigger".
Just goes to show what the average Zero supporter 9and Dim) really think. They still pull the lever though...
While I could care less about Deen personally I think the idea that she is being held to standard not applied to even the likes of Harry Reid referring to Obama not having a “Negro dialect” or course he’s a Democrat and supports every form of big government one can imagine so he gets a pass but Paula Deen a Food Network host or Dog the the Bounty Hunter gets raked over the coals not because they are inherently racist but because they dare use a racial epithet in any capacity. I’ve seen too many rabid leftist comedians using racial epithets to be offended nor take this trumped up bull crap seriously. I don’t like political correctness. It’s pernicious but even more so I don’t like double standards. I don’t care who Deen campaigned for. The idea that one be insulated from scrutiny because of the party they belong to or the people they support politically is stupid. I’m not going to play the game. I don’t use racial epithets and if I saw someone using them maliciously toward a person of race I’d certainly say something but otherwise I think we need to oppose this culture of gotcha. It doesn’t benefit us even when it should such as in the Harry Reid example.
Exactly. I just read an account of a black man attacking, stabbing, patrons at an Outback restaurant. He stabbed three people, including a pregnant waitress. He kept going up to people in the restaurant and trying to initiate conversation, saying things like “What’s up” or something. When the one man and his daughter responded wirh something like “excuse me.” because they were a bit taken aback, he attacked them with a knife and started yelling that no white man was going to call him a ni**er. No one was killed, but the man, his daughter, and the pregnant waitress were injured before he was apprehended.
Sounds like he was trying to gin up a “ghetto lottery” case against Outback. All he had to do, if he’d worked it right, was claim that someone, anyone, called him a ni**er.
Already in Britain, they put people in jail for less.
I agree. I despise her for her her politics, but I can’t support the ability of a chosen few in protected classes, and their political “protectors”, to dictate what word a person may or may not utter by destroying their lives. Especially when the rules they play by are so hypocritical-it’s always, as Sailer says, “Who? Whom?”
You’re so right!
Lord have mercy.
Around here, (in the deep South) it’s used as a greeting between blacks.
Sometimes the Niger word (two g’s) is substituted with “boy,” which is also offensive.
