"The relationship started when the kid was 17."

Doesn't matter. If he's 18 now and of sound mind then the mother has no legal basis to bring the suit on his behalf. He's a grown man and has to act for himself.

I’m not a lawyer. All I know is that he bought the kid stuff when he was 17, kid is 18 now, there is a lawsuit and Pugh has basically disappeared. He is acting guilty. I don’t know what he did, if anything.

Its the least of his problems. Looks like Kevin Orr is preparing a legal order to strip Pugh of his official title and duties and declare him a voluntary termination.

Rumor is that other charges relating to Pugh’s official position, the school, and gifts may be coming.

I believe the mother has standing concerning whatever happened before her son became 18.
