Here Are The Companies That Aren't Afraid To Show Support For Paula Deen
Business Insider ^ | 06/27/2013 | LAURA STAMPLER

With the Food Network, Wal-mart, and even Diabetes drug company Novo Nordisk severing ties Paula Deen, major brand partnerships look dire for the shamed celebrity chef.

But just because Deen's cookbooks are being thrown in the clearance bins at local Duane Reades doesn't mean that every company is jumping on the drop-Deen bandwagon.

In spite of accusations of racism and using the N-word, Deen still has some (albeit smaller) corporate sponsors that are vocally showing their support.

1) Local food company Sandridge Foods voiced its "unwavering support."

Twitter @SandridgeFood

The soup, salad, and fresh produce maker out of Medina, Ohio tweeted Paula Deen's infamous "I is what I is and I'm not changing" Today Show quote to its 207 followers as a sign of its "proud' support of Deen.

“Paula is a very caring person who has spent the majority of her life helping the less privileged and giving back,” said Sandridge. “As an organization, we believe she and her team are on the right track and we look forward to continuing to work together.”

CEO Mark D. Sandridge believes she has proven "her genuine equality for all."

2) Springer Mountain Farms, which has been raising chickens for over 40 years, is nearing 7,000 likes in just one day for its post supporting Paula Deen.

3) Tasty Blend Foods was "very pleased" with her interview on The Today Show and "very saddened" that she was being judged for her past.

Tasty Blend Foods is a dry mix manufacturer for retail and foodservice products. It also appears to have a very religious foundation and posts bible quotes regularly on its Facebook page. (See right.)

Maybe she will “be back”, but if she doesn’t stop the whining and groveling even her closest fans are going to be too embarrassed for her to support her.

Obama bows to third-world dictators, Paula, are you going to bow to Jessie Jackson? What is he, the guru of the n-word? Will everything be ok if Jessie gives you his blessing ( after he shakes you down for a few hundred-thou?

Using the N-word is bad. We get that.
But when the punishment exceeds the crime by orders of magnitude, we must stand up and say "Enough Already!".

It’s all about destroying the brand, not necessarily the immediate economic viability of a person or business.

The Gaystapo did this with Sweet Cakes in Oregon. Over time, the news that the business was being attacked made suppliers just a little bit less inclined to trade with them, fearing the same nasty reprisals from the homo-Nazis. While they did bumper business for a while after the initial publicity over the threat to their religious liberty by vindictive faggots, their business has slowly declined.

The media that meets the DNC behind closed doors, says Paul Deen is a larger threat to civil liberties than a rogue NS and IRS combined.

If I were mugged by a black man, you’d be able to hear me scream that word all the way into DC.

These days anything and everything is acceptable except if a white person utters one particular word. Whatever happened to sticks and stones? I with somebody would start a petition banning the “C” word. I’m thinking of complaining to the Tricuit and Saltine companies to voice my concern over their use of the “C” word.

Deen is an Obama fan. She’s had the mooch on her show many times. She’s a victim of her own crappy voting habits. Why support someone who obviously supports limited free speech?

Heh. To my northern ears it sounds like YOWLL. Nonetheless, I wish she'd man up and stop the apology tour. She said what she said. Own it.

I agree. Apolgize for what? Everyone says dumb things at times. Heck, even if there were word-crimes, this would be way past the statute of limitations.

I really dislike grovelling.

And Donald Trump has never said that word before? Come on Donald, don’t be a hypocrite. Of course you have.

I have never been a big fan of Paula Deen, but I support her 100% in this latest lynching by the media. I have written Walmart, Target, and Smithfield Hams and told them they will not get one cent from me anymore. Both stores have went to hell recently anyway. Walmart, the store that used to proudly proclaim they sold nothing but American-made products, now sell nothing made in the US. In addition I am sick and tired of them caving into the PC crowd. They quit selling Confederate flags and they quit selling moonpies, because they didn’t want to be perceived as “racist”. They also quit selling a pretty good garden hoe that happened to be painted black, after people started referring to it as the “black hoe”. In addition they sell books on homosexuality. Target has also caved into the homosexual radicals. I also don’t like the tattoo-covered freaks that can barely speak a coherent sentence that Walmart hires as cashiers. Without a digital cash register they couldn’t change a dollar. So so-long Walmart, you got my business for 30 years. Not standing up for Paula Deen after all the money the woman has made for your stores is the last straw with me. You use to be a store that I bragged about it. No more. You caved to the queers and PC crowd. Take a hike.

<....”Wish she had not apologized and would STOP apologizing!”.....>

But that's part of her show.....this is not going to hurt her, in fact the show will go on and she'll be bringing in the revenues as this plays out on the media “stage”.

Hollywood people know that even bad news keeps their face in view of the public...she is Hollywood and knows that all too well.

I didn't even know who this woman was until I heard some slobbering woman crying forgiveness on the news. After hearing her I was glad I didn't know her.

It's pretty bad when a bubbling cook gets front line press in our nation when it's in the dire straits that it's in. But...the media gives the public the "food" they quickly lap up.
