1. Dip book in butter. 2. Put book in oven.
3. Turn oven up to 451°F.
4. Bake until reduced to ash.

I pre-ordered that. Absolutely amazing. Destroying this woman and her families career. Sickening.

Sounds like she’ll make a fortune self-publishing if they chose to break the contract. Good for her.

I wonder if the book is contractually bound to this publisher? If not, I hope another publisher picks it up.

Some things are more forgivable than others.
Paula’s a crazy a$$ cracker, and she needs to be shown her place, and what all we good virtuous correct-thinking caring and tolerant people won’t tolerate is a crazy a$$ cracker and her a$$ cracker fans.

How the hell can they do that ??

This is a decision that will raise legal questions - canceling a book which is number one in advance sales is designed to injure. What is the publisher's obligation? Is there a cause of action, etc?

I don’t know if you can have stock in a publishing company.but if I was a stock ower and they just nixed a #1 bestseller I would be ticked.

It’s times like these that will turn liberals (Paula) into Conservatives.

OK. There is something WAY more going on here than a 60-something year old woman saying the n-word decades ago.

Sell it online. I had my products nixed by distribution companies 11 years ago. So we created an online store and not only made money to keep going but picked up many distributors and dealers who had nixed us.
The days of publishing or distribution companies controlling your success are over. Online direct is the way to go. I’ll still work with them but if they nix what I think is a great idea? I go around them and straight to my target market.
