President Obama and former President Bush were not the only members of their family that were putting on a joint display of support on Tuesday.
First Ladies Michelle Obama and Laura Bush have shown their mutual admiration at a panel in Tanzania where they complained about how the White House can feel like a prison.
'There are prison elements to it. But it's a really nice prison,' Mrs Obama said at the Tuesday panel in Tanzania.
Her predecessor then added that the chef is an addition unlike other prisons, and Mrs Obama brought it back to the point, saying: 'You can't complain. But there is definitely elements that are confining.'

Fine moochelle. if living in the white hut is like being in a prison, Get out. Go live in a real prison in solitary confinement for the same amount of time you’ve trespassed the white hut. You’ll love it! no one will pay attention to your shoes, you can let your hair go natural, wear the same outfit day in and day out. You won’t have to talk to anyone.
I keep seeing the image of poor African children with bloated bellies and flies crawling all over them, starving and dying in the heat ...juxtaposed with Michelle Obama put up in some 5-star hotel somewhere on the continent, with 100 people just waiting on her every need.
It’s hard to express how vile this woman really is.
How long before michelle says that she’s like a slave to the American people?
There’s the door. Make use of it.
We are in prison, too, but we need to pay for your prison, especially when you are on a $100,000.00 furlough.
Dr. Evil, as I recall, in Austin Powers, wanted to use a weapon of mass destruction to hold the world hostage, until he was told that that was chump change.
It used to be a lot of money, at least before Obama was in office.
not enough zeros - I meant $100,000.000.00. I gues the damn decimal dot doesn’t matter any more.
No FR posting on this so far....
This report by Meagan Keneaaly in the UK Daily Mail has the two former first ladies in Tanzania. Was Laura Bush part of the 1000 accompaning Obama on his $100 million African safari ?. In fact Limbaugh cited the ABC TV eye wash remote morning show from there and replayed the audio on todays 7/2/13 show covered in this report.
Kinda hard to offer any criticism when principals of the opposition party participate in a questionable waste of taxpayers money for any reason.
.
Ooopps there were a few postings about this observation as I was putting this together....
