Egypt's high command said on Wednesday the army was ready to die to defend Egypt's people against terrorists and fools, in a response to Islamist President Mohamed Mursi that was headlined "The Final Hours".

The post on the official Facebook page of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), headed by armed forces chief General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, said: "We swear to God that we will sacrifice even our blood for Egypt and its people, to defend them against any terrorist, radical or fool."(continued)

This is really good. The Army will get rid of Morsi/Muslim Brotherhood (Obama’s pals), and when a new more secular gov’t comes to power, all those weapons Obama sold to Egypt, thinking they would go to Morsi and his regime, will end up in the hands of the more liberal factions who will better protect this weaponry from being used against Israel, or to facilitate Hamas and/or other terrorist groups. A win/win situation.

The Egyptian Army, with the exception of Morsi’s hand appointed flunkies at the top, has no love for Morsi and his henchmen. They will be delighted to take him down. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The Arab world is a fascinating one when it comes to Intent and Performance.

On the one hand Rhetoric plays a crucial role for the Arab Muslim because it permits him (usually him and not her) to gain respect and save face at the same time.

RESPECT is more important than life itself for these people. For Israeli Jews for example, life is more important than ego. That's why they trade 2,500 Palestinian terrorists for one lone Israeli captive (Gilad Shalit).

In the Arab world, a man's word should be honored even though (according to the Koran) lying is permitted in order to gain some sort of advantage over someone else especially a non-Muslim.

Blustering rhetoric might be called “DAWIN” in Arabic which means, I think, giving a certain impression on what you mean or say but the contents of it might be empty. This might be used to trick someone into thinking one way when you mean another way...(deceiving).

A problem arises when you try to figure out and differentiate between real vs. perceived intent. That is why non-Muslims fall into the trap again and again because they believe that the other party (Muslim) actually means what he says and will honor a ceasefire or any other kind of agreement with you.

Hence Saddam Hussein signing a ceasefire with Bush but then continued to violate the terms of the ceasefire. Same case in the Israeli-Palestinain Oslo Accords. Promises signed by Arafart in a contract while he never intending to honor the terms.

Just look at how Arabic leaders address their home crowds.

It always has a yelling, shrill to it replete with tons of rhetoric.

Close your eyes wen listening to Hizbollah’s Nasrallah and you can imagine Hitler giving one of his speeches in the Reichstag.

They are identical in tone and intonation.

When they address a Western audience (like with a veiled CNN Chrstian Amampour), they speak like cultured, reposed statesmen.

They will tel you what you want to hear and when they return home, they will scream at their people that they really showed those Western scum who's the boss.

In short, one must understand why Morsi is now screaming to the Egyptian masses, that is what they are used to and if you can throw in a few “the Israeli Zionists are behind our troubles” then, all the better for these sheep.

Always listen carefully and try to differentiate between Rhetoric and Dawin, i that way, you will come to KNOW THY ENEMY well.

>>>I almost wish we had such a military...<<<

I don’t think free republic will fly there. There is a communist somewhere to take Morsi’s seat. Keep in mind colonel Q-duffy, Assad the Dad and good ol Saddam.

Please note the military didn’t act until the people spoke. Right now ...We the People ...are pretty darn quiet.

Are you referring to the Rhetoric/Dawin bit? Jeez, if our leaders would learn the mentality (and language) of those that hate us, we would have less screwups and loss of life all over the planet. Does John Kerry look like a man who understands his counterparts in other countries?

Yeah, I'd be jealous too if I knew my neighbors (the Israelis) were not eating out of their toilets and cutting off their women's’ genitalia.

Got to hand it to the Arabs, their fingers have been in their rear ends for the last 500 years and it does not look like they're ready to pull the finger out, any time soon.

Look for Israel to be on secure alert these next few days because of the protests going on in Egypt.

"We swear to God that we will sacrifice even our blood for Egypt and its people, to defend them against any terrorist, radical or fool."(continued)

To paraphrase Patton, don't sacrifice your own blood, sacrifice the blood of morsi and the muzziebrotherhood SOBs.

Israel is normally on 24/7 alert. Since Syria started crumbling, the Israelis have been even more alert. Now that Egypt is going the way of the rest of the so-called, Arab Spring, Israel is on hyper-alert. There is a marked increase of air recon and troop bolstering along all of Israel's border. If the coiled spring snaps for any reason I do not think that Barry (with all his charm) will be able to hold the Israelis back anymore. Though they did permit Egypt to insert tanks and other troops into a DMZ near Gaza. Israel is ready to smack down ANYTHING that threatens her unlike Barry who keeps saying, “...and I mean it”!
