permitted under Title V of the U.S. Code, section 7131, enacted under the 1978 Civil Service Reform Act

So why didn't 3 Republican administrations do something about this?

Why should I think that voting in another GOPe president will change anything?

Well, wet yer pants with surprise.

Listen, there’s probably not a department or agency in the Fed Govt that isn’t infected with progressive scum. It’ll take an act of God to clean up the mess.

When I discovered that there were 90,000 IRS employees or one for every 3600 people I was shocked.

My nephew’s girlfriend and her mother are expecting tax refunds. They sent in their forms January 6th.

They haven’t received the money yet. The message upon inquiring about their refunds was, “Still processing.”

What I think - is there is no money. BHO2 has been sending all available funds to his friends here and overseas.

We are being stripped and robbed.

Not just that, but the foreign aid — it’s disgusting when the nation is bankrupt.

End the fed and go to a gold-back currency.

Time for the States to stop remitting funds to the fed.

I generally agree with you -- There are two problems though (1) As I understand it: the Constitution was set-up, in part, to settle tax-collection and defense which were anemic/unenforceable under the Articles of Confederation, (2) given the subservient mentality the States have it'd be very surprising. (Though this attitude may be changing, as we can see with the Firearm Freedom Acts and similar 10th Amendment affirming laws.)

But it is entirely possible for a governor to change the political landscape virtually instantly: see here.

I wonder if there is an AIDS-like plague that would infect only gov’t workers. Or if one could be synthesized.
