Bourdain has been a left winger since his college days.

Just another left wing new Yorker.

Also, a former heroin addict, which further clarifies his character.

Chefs, like actors, shouldn’t have political opinions.

And what has happened to Elian Gonzalez? The last I heard, he was a happy member of Fidel’s Youth Corps. I wonder if he will ever get out?

Any woman with a smile like hers, who can cook and says y’all is by definition a saint.

Bourdain is a jackass, worth watching however is a segment on one of his shows where he meets up with Ted Nugent. They grill some kill, some wounded vets are on hand, and afterwards they take Tony back to the range where he does a bit of shooting and smiling. He comments that his liberal friends in New York would have a fit. After he fires many rounds on a hand held 50 cal, he looks at the camera and says that was strangely satisfying. It’s a hoot.

He’s a glorified a**hat of a cook with socialist tendencies. I don’t care what he thinks and I’m sure that he would find that, “sniff, unconscionable!”

Bourdain is the epitome of an obnoxious arrogant liberal elitist.

However, he did one thing decidedly PC incorrect in of his shows. Did anyone catch the show when he personally capped the pig in Louisina?

Now that was classic. Most liberals would have been horrified.

Bourdain, like so many elite, effete North East liberals think that any one who lives south of the Mason-Dixon is unwashed, ill-educated, and insensitive to any one but their huntin’ dog.

Miss Deen, because she is from the south is in the minds of liberal snobs no doubt a Christain (the enemy), red neck (ill educated), and can’t speak so she can be accepted in upper east side Manhattan circles. Therefore, she is the enemy and must be destroyed.

When Tony was hard on drugs, I am sure he said countless things (20 years ago) that he would not be proud of today. Miss Deen admitted her “sins” of 30 years ago. Will Bourdain ever admit his?

And lest he forget, he is from New Jersey and not Manhattan. That alone makes him suspect IMHO (having seen the Jersey Shore and Real Housewives of NJ)

I was once on a transatlantic flight in first class next to Bourdain. He didn’t say a word to anyone, and never thanked the attendants at all. He just slept and refused to eat anything given to him. One of my more unpleasant flights.

On one show out of the blue he commented that he'd like to see the British royal family heads on pikes. I didn't sense any irony.

I thought it was weird. Who cares what a cook thinks about the royal family?

Don’t believe everything you read: I actually recall watching that particular episode of “No Reservation Required,” and if I recall correctly, he gushed over the Cuban people, not Casto and not the Cuban government, and in fact, he was highly critical of the regime. I think he even commented on the impoverished lifestyle of the average Cuban.

As far as “liking” the Cuban food, anyone who knows Tony Bourdain should know that he has often said that when invited into people’s homes ad restaurants, he is there as a guest not as a food critic, and he will always compliment the chef no matter what he really thinks of the food.

It’s a shame I already stopped watching him, and can’t stop watching him again. I stopped watching him after one or two tries not even knowing about his drug abuse or politics, just because of his obnoxious manner, decadence and narcissism.

There are lots of things about Bourdain that I don’t particularly like, but the funniest thing is when he gets around real men, and he turns into a prissy little girl...
