A Lake County property where two men allegedly kept a Los Angeles-area girl in a metal box and sexually abused her had been under federal investigation for the previous 18 months, court documents said.

“The men put a hose through one of the holes and washed out the human waste inside, court documents said. Investigators found a poem the girl had written about life in the box, and human hair, authorities said.

Court documents show Balletto called her a “trooper” because she didn’t scream. A “rack” allegedly used for bondage and sex toys were also found on the property.”

And if the society wants to prevent this, we will have to spend more $$$$ on more investigators to avoid this.

And..where were the neighbors?

True enough.

I don't know. NO ONE was there for that girl. THAT is as much of a shame as anything else.
Maybe it's because too many women are working now and NO ONE is home. Children are abandoned to nannies, babysitter and day care. THEY are taking the brunt of it all.

OOooo, am I going to be bashed by working-women-with-children???
