The establishment press's general refusal to cover clearly newsworthy developments in the Obama administration scandal involving the targeting of conservative, tea party, prolife and other groups by the Internal Revenue Service has been so negligent and blatant that several leading conservatives, including the MRC's Brent Bozell and talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh, called it out in an open letter earlier this week.
Consistent with the rest of their colleagues, the Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press, appears to have had no substantive story on the scandal since July 18 -- and that one was about primarily Democrats beating the false meme that progressive groups were supposedly targeted similarly. The AP's negligence extends to the tax agency's shocking level of non-cooperation with House Ways & Means Committee investigators, as will be seen after the jump.
Yesterday, committee Chairman Dave Camp issued a press release, coming within inches of directly accusing the agency of obstruction of justice .

Apparently, this is what a “Phony” scandal looks like.
But you know they’re the most important 0.02% of the docs so it’s all A-OK.
Yet the IRS has open access to all our files w/o FOIA request.
Provide the IRS with .02% of authorized funding. Better yet, abolish it.
That whole Legislative Branch just isn’t relevant any longer.

If the costs of the IRS not complying with the Legislative Branch are ZERO, then WHY HAVE A LEGISLATIVE BRANCH..?
Why not instead opt for progress by REMOVING the simulacrum of Democracy that we’re deluding ourselves with..?
Why not make the ACTUAL REALITY clear by just having a DICTATORSHIP...?
If you were pulled over for speeding and later NEVER HAD TO PAY, how much speeding might we eventually see...? Would we see less speeding, the same incidence of speeding, or MORE speeding...?
I do not understand why our guys vote Republican or even WHY we have a Congress. I don’t get it.
We should also change that song that finishes, “home of the free”. The words should be HONEST.

I think Benghazi should be focused on.. The degree to which Team 0bama doesn’t want people getting to the truth is a huge red flag that something VERY shocking was going on that night.. The staged kidnapping of Stevens for a Blind Sheik trade was once a crazy conspiracy theory, but this story combined with the downing of the SEALs helicopter reveals a pattern that sends chills to the bone.
