Peggy Noonan: Obama Got To Point When People Stopped Listening To Him Faster Than Most Presidents
Newsbusters ^ | 7/28/13 | Noel Sheppard

"I think every president in the intense media environment we have now, certainly every two-term president, gets to a point where the American people stop listening, stop leaning forward hungrily for information. I think this president got there earlier than most presidents. And I think he's in that time now."

So said the Wall Street Journal's Peggy Noonan on ABC's This Week Sunday.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, HOST: You are seeing (ph) more populist Democrats, I agree with that, but Peggy Noonan, you know, the president going back to the country one more time, it's unclear that these speeches are doing much to move public opinion, much less Washington.

PEGGY NOONAN, WALL STREET JOURNAL: Yes, I think that's true. But when the White House calls it a pivot, somebody counted it up and said it's probably the tenth pivot to the economy the president has done since he came in.

My view of Peggy Noonan is ameliorated by her expert and poetic interview with Raymond Arroyo a year after 9/11 on an hour special of ‘The World Over’.

I take her with a grain of salt as I do most used-to-be conservative journalists, but when she’s right, she will be on the mark.

Peggy Noonan: Obama Got To Point When People Stopped Listening To Him Faster Than Most Presidents

1. I have NEVER considered the kenyan usurper "president" and as such;

2. I quit listening at 12:01 PM January 20, 2009. The mute buttons on my TV remotes are almost worn out from muting that egotistical, narcissistic blowhard commie.

Pivot? Its more like a whirling Dervish performance.

I listen for the lies, they’re always there.

This weirdo, with her maddening affected speech cadence, voted for The Worst President Ever. Why in the world would anyone listen to her?

People have stopped listening because they have figured out what he is saying and they are shocked. Imagine, right wing commentators and Sarah Palin were right back in the beginning.
What do we do now that we are stuck with a communist out to destroy the nation?
It is good to say, “I told you so.” Now get to work. We have a country to save from its leaders.

FU Noonan. Obama and Dems have destroyed the economy via a Detroit model.

When Karl Rove puts on a dress, he likes people to call him “Peggy”.

She certainly did, losing all credibility in the process. Anything she has to say now is meaningless.

I’ll say it again, President Obama has some sort of Teflon shield on him becuase he is black. He’s simply impervious to embarrassing scandals, lousy economic policy, out of control government spending etc etc...that would have brought down any other President. I say this only as an observer of the body politic. Obama simply gets a pass...people just feel so good about themselves for supporting a black President. It gives them their ‘bonafides’ and no fact or scandal will will deny the liberals their ‘bonafides.’

The IRS scandal especially would have brought any President down. What the IRS did was not only clearly illegal, it’s just sad and depressing an American President would allow such a thing to happen. It breaks my heart. But, Obama is not to be challnged on this...nothing to see here...move along. It’s all sad.

By the way, NBC is the worst network for ignoring the Obama scandals. The Dems just own that network!!! GE owns NBC and I think the Whie House gives GE special treatment in return for favorable coverage....something is going on there.

Why in the world would anyone listen to her?

Once upon a time, she used to be honest? Not much of a distinction, is it?

I will concede that donkey dung is shiny when its new, but that shine wore off before January 2009 ended. Since then, Noonan has been staring at a dull worthless dried-up crusty turd for over 1600 days now still believing that it held a shine. In other words, Noonan has proved herself to be an idiot and a patsy to the current fascist regime. She should retire and devote the remainder of her life working to fix what she helped destroy - the United States of America.
