How did Lee get so conservative?
For later. This is important.
This post could have been ten times longer than it was and it wouldn’t change the fact that the ACA is, whether good or bad, LAW. The focus now is to elect a Congress and an administration that will rid us of it and through free enterprise, restore a system of patient care that is good and affordable.
Which leads me to another topic:
Let's assume he was. If he was a REAL man, he could have simply learned from the Founders, gotten into a national press conference, and revealed he was being blackmailed. Tell what the blackmail was about, let the chips fall where they may... remove the ability to blackmail, by announcing it in prime-time. The rumors are he's bisexual. Okay, just announce it. (First, tell his wife he's got an issue, offer to work through it, and let those chips fall where THEY may).
The Founders risked life and fortune to start America, certainly some lower-level-than-they SCOTUS judge can do the same.
He could then have voted the RIGHT way, AND started a major impeachment effort. Even (some) Democrats might have gotten aboard the Impeachment Train.
We'd have been spared a 2012 Obama victory, definitely -- and spared Obamacare as an added bonus. Instead, he thought selfishly about his own hind-end.
What a waste. His legacy will be a shadow of a man, instead of a man of the stature of the Founders.

Go Lee and Cruz! Defund Obamacare and repeal that unconstitutional, tyrannical piece of garbage!
If the Supreme Court legitimately does its job, then what it says the law is, and what the law actually is, will be one and the same. Nothing in the Constitution, however, states that Supreme Court decisions are superior to any other form of law, and nothing even hits that they should be considered binding upon people other than the actual parties to the cases before them. While the Constitution was designed to build a government on a Common Law framework, the supremacy clause suggests that the Constitution is supposed to be superior to judicial precedent.
To be sure, the fact that the Constitution says it is the Supreme Law of the Land doesn't magically make it so, and someone who does not regard the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land could perfectly well regard unconstitutional things as legitimate. I would posit, however, that if one regards the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution as true, then judicial decisions contrary to the Constitution must be recognized as illegitimate. Further, I would posit that if one does not accept the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution as true, then nothing in the Constitution has any meaning with regard to government legitimacy or lack thereof.
Second to King Obama, Roberts is the most destructive human jackass in America. History, eventually, will look on that fool for what he is, a damn piece of the explosion that killed America.
True, but aren't laws that DO affect the rest of us use, as precedent, narrow SC decisions?
The FACT is: The Messiah has been choosing which selective parts of LAW that are enforced (just like with Illegals, and allowing them not to be treated according to EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAW, suspending that PART which requires Deportation/Detention).
Now, it doesn't matter what the LAW says in any case, because ONLY the parts that are appealing to The Messiah will be enforced.
We have a DICTATORSHIP now, and John Roberts is complicit in having re-written Obamacare from the Bench, KNOWING it was otherwise Un-Constitutional.
I will probably not outlive Roberts but if I do I swear I will pizz on his grave. He is too much of an abomination to be our chief justice. He is a traitor to his country and a blight on the legal system.
Roberts was blackmailed to support Obamacare. And the Reps don’t have the cojones to defund it. Mike Lee is a great conservative. And the people in Utah should have gotten rid of Hatch who just signed on to the McRubio-Schumer amnesty.
What Obama is doing by delaying the employer mandate is an impeachable offense. Boehner is AWOL.
IF it came through the House, you would have about 80 votes, or more, voting "NO" on Impeachment Articles.
