A hoodie is the universal uniform of thuggery. It puts the public on notice that the person under the hoodie is a criminal, seeking not to be identified.

And it will be pointed out to you, in case you didn't know it, that not everyone who wears a hoodie is a thug. And that's true, of course. But then again, not everyone who wears a sheet and pillowcase is a Klansman.

Of course you are correct, not everyone who wears a hoodie is a thug. However, THEY are making it their moniker - take note of the idiot basketball team posing in hoodies, that idiot here in IL who showed up in the halls of Congress with a hoodie - the examples are numerous.

Take it up with them, suggest they stop using that innocent hoodie is a symbol.

It is them who is seering into the publics mind that hoodies
equal trouble.

No, I’m pretty sure that when I see a hoodie on a young male, I am also seeing a thug or at least a thug pretender.

Perhaps not all girls wearing a Hustler T-Shirt are whores or strippers. Could be some room there. But, I think I’ll stick with the thug ID.
