An Israel without Hevron isn’t Israel.
We were forced to do without Hevron from 1929 through 1967, a total of 38 years. Right now we only have 7% of it accessible to Jews, and I forget how much accessible to the IDF. But while we did manage to become and remain Israel for 19 of those 38 years, we have maintained a Jewish presence there from 1971 through the present, a total of 44 years, and I will be damned if we EVER voluntarily walk away from the City of the Patriarchs, and our enemies will have the devil’s own time removing us again by force.
