There have been, what, three previous Islamic wars in human history? All three of those wars lasted approximately 100 years, and required a lot of spilt blood before they ended. Unfortunately, the victims of the current Islamic war are too “civilized” for their own good, giving Islam what it needs to be completely victorious in this war.
Generally, Islamic “wars” (there’s probably a better word to use) continue on...until someone says it’s enough, and takes down the top ten or twenty or thirty mullahs of the group pressing for the war. Once you accomplish that...everyone else down the chain suddenly gets the idea to clean up their act and act in a mature fashion.
In this case....I think we are looking at a thirty year war, and in the end...some Russian President will finally stand up and say he’s seen enough, and order a hunt-down of all the top players. We’ve got years of this business to go before Putin II arrives to clean up the mess.
If we are serious, then we need to do it right (which we won’t). Instead of sending troops all over the world, kick all the Muslims out of the US, ban Islam as being incompatible with civilized society, and tell them Mecca will be hot glass for 100 years if they don’t behave.
