First Chuck Todd, now Andrea Mitchell and even former Obama spox-turned-NBC-analyst Robert Gibbs agree: NBC's decision to produce a miniseries about Hillary Clinton is a "bad idea."
Gibbs and Mitchell lamented the series on Andrea's early-afternoon MSNBC show today.

Any theories on why various NBC news people have criticized the NBC Hillary mini-series? Ping to Today show list.
They are trying to keep up the facade of being journalists.
I misread the series as “Hillary Ministries” which seems about right.
...because the NBC hosts, news anchors either participate in the debates or host the after-debate shows/analysis. They dont want to lose their glory seats. In addition, they may be the official trial balloons paving the way for NBC to shut down the project.
A welcome relief that they are speaking as they are.
Answer: They are worried that their hagiography will invite factual scrutiny.
Instead of people voting for or against the phony persona that PIAPS has carefully fabricated over the years — Americans will actually get a look at who PIAPS really is, and what she hasn’t accomplished.
Who gets to play Huma? WHo gets to play Monica?
Vince Foster?
what if no one watches it
You have a built in 25% for them because of subsidy ties.
You have another 25% or so for them due to government employment ties.
Until the place crashes and reality hits, we are in essence screwed. Not a joke!
Take the place with the money for a little time longer or maybe some austerity.
The ex-governor buddy who died in jail because they forgot to give him his heart medication? The Tyson official who "advised" Hillary on futures trading? There's a lot of interesting roles in that soap opera.

Ain’t she sittin in that fatuous ass’ seat?
It’s a bad idea because it’s a bad idea. Nobody wants to watch any movies about Hillary Clinton. I’ll bet the liberals wouldn’t even watch it. The best movie about her is “The Firm”. John Grishom is a relative of hers and used the Rose Law Firm as his model.
Yup. If the ratings suck, it will have exactly the opposite of its intended effect.
How long into the show will the documents be found on the table upstairs in the White House?
They view the Hillary mini-series as a retrospective, a biography. It’s as if the Hillary story is complete - - rather than ongoing and yet to reach its conclusion - - and this is a “tribute” to her. She will be close to 70 when election day 2016 rolls around. The Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms might be nervous that many people, especially young people, will scrunch their brows and wonder, “Hillary? What is she doing back?”

Too much, too soon, just as that lovely bit of agitprop “The New Normal” let a little too much of the cat out of the bag a bit too soon. There will be time.
They have discovered that the bullshit about Hillary is rising and their stupid ass “documentary” is about to crush her as a viable candidate.
