In response to a question at a town hall event this week, Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL) suggested that a majority of House Republicans support granting amnesty through a GOP version of the DREAM Act to young illegal aliens who were brought to America as minors by their parents. Schock, a member of the whip team led by House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, was laying out for constituents his stances on immigration and the House GOP leaderships plan to deal with the issue later this year.
Theyre going to move one bill after another dealing with all the various issues that were contained in the Senate bill, Schock said to the town hall, as seen in video posted on YouTube.

Schocks outline of the preliminary plan matches what other member of GOP leadership have said. When he got to the third part of the plan, a DREAM Act which is currently being drafted by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and will eventually be introduced as the KIDS Act, Schock promised there would be a vote on the DREAM Act in the House and promised it would pass with bipartisan support.

At the town hall this week, Schock also said he supports a comprehensive immigration bill of the sort opposed by House conservatives. He also promised some kind of amnesty, although not necessarily citizenship, for all illegal aliens would come up for a vote in the House.
The final bill, which will be the most difficult bill, will be dealing with people who are here currently illegally and the path...

In response to a follow-up question from the town hall audience member who prompted Schocks immigration remarks, Schock added that he thinks there should be a pathway to citizenship for anybody who wants to come to America.

Na Na Na Na / Na Na Na Na / Hey Hey Hey / Goodbye GOP
What buffoonery from Schock. This is the GOP leadership pulling the inevitability page STRAIGHT OUT THE DEM PLAYBOOK. The beltway GOPs lemming like march to irrelevance continues.
Why not just call it the 'Kill America Act'??
Fwiw, 'The KIDS Act'?? Really?? This government's euphemistic bullsh*t puts Goebbels Ministry of Propaganda to shame.
I believe this issue, is what Palin is waiting for.
If the GOP does not defend America.
Look for Palin to bolt.

/just my opinion.
Another traitor from Illinois.
"What buffoonery from Schock. This is the GOP leadership pulling the inevitability page STRAIGHT OUT THE DEM PLAYBOOK. "
Yep. And the GOP leadership clearly wants it this way- Schock says it outright: "Theyre going to move one bill after another dealing with all the various issues that were contained in the Senate bill."
And when they do this, of course, Schumer, Obama and the MSM will be chomping at the bit to demagogue away. You play with fire, and you're going to get burned...
You may be right; I know Sarah Palin has said in the past that a third party was an increasing likelihood, and I do believe that Mark Levin seconded that notion.
Perhaps this is the issue that’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back and leads to the formation of that third party. Time will tell.
He’s probably right. I don’t think the GOP establishment understands that a number of voters will vote against them in the primary if they pass these immigration bills. Guess they’ll have to update their resumes and circulate them among the lobbying firms on K Street.
I’m “Schocked” .......NOT.........
Most of the Congress and Senate members saying they are against amnesty are afraid of the grassroots but also looking for a way to support it so they won’t alienate large money political contributors who want amnesty for the cheap labor pool it will provide.
90 PERCENT PLUS OF THE REPUBLICANS WE ELECT ARE FAKE AND PHONY PATRIOTS, TEA PARTY, CONSERVATIVES, SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES (PRO LIFE, PRO TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE), FISCAL CONSERVATIVES ETC. ETC. ETC.......
Why is working with the socialist (really one world communists) running the Demo-com party which control everything except the House of such importance?
Rather than exposing the corruption, the injustice (Zimmmerman has a target on his back for legally doing his job not one word from any of the GOPES leadership about that. In fact they’re, yes the demo-coms, are promoting a race war replete with murders. ) and because of it are tap dancing lightly on constitutional violations which could lead to an impeachment.
Nuts !
They will be financed to the hilt by pro amnesty forces through the RNC, state GOP committees, the NRCC and NRSC, PAC’s including Zuckerberg’s ACD and individual contributions from pro amnesty “fat cats” directly.
What is it about NO they don’t understand?
In my #13 post I was making it clear that incumbent GOP members who vote for amnesty will be supported full bore in primaries against any conservative challengers with massive $$$$$$$$$.
They won’t be giving up easily against grassroots conservatives and that’s why I like third party conservatives ready to run as back up if the RINO’s make it past the primaries.
Limp wristed buffonery from Boehner and McConnell. The leadership game plan seems to be pass an amnesty lite bill and a massive increase in legal immigration bill for their K Street johns. Dressed up with a phony border security bill. What a cluster.
All that will do is P.O. everybody and be a path to permanent minority status for the Surrender Party. They will have richly earned that status.
"Rather than exposing the corruption, the injustice..."
We have men and women serving our country around the globe, putting their lives on the line everyday... and yet the GOP leadership says squat about ensuring that overseas ballots actually get counted. There was flagrant vote fraud in the 2012 election... again, nothing from these jerks. A unified Republican effort for Voter ID?... nope.
But pandering to people who broke the law? Boy, they're all about that...
If this Bill is passed in any form, illegals will be INTOLERABLE!
Their demands will never cease.
I don’t have any problem with my Rep, Luke Messer. He replaced Mike Pence. I e-mailed him the other day and urged him to work with other Republicans to get their house in order.
If they can’t, the GOP is going the way of JC Penneys: backslaps from the other side of the aisle, as the other side eats their lunch. I can’t be bothered to support a party like the GOP-e.
I think you’re right about Palin. I believe Mark Levin will join her and perhaps others will as well. It’s time to go.
