For those of you who have never been to Nevada:
I live in rural N Nevada. Not that rural-—only on parcels which are about 5 acres. In NE Nevada, there are ranches of over 5,000 acres!!
My bank==17 miles one way. This is the NEAREST bank to where I live.
Full grocery store—not Wal-Mart===21 miles away,one way, but that one is very expensive & I go to a more reasonable priced one that is 24 1/2 miles away-—ONE WAY.
I don’t even know where the nearest cleaners might be.
Nearest Wal-Mart is about 19 miles, and Lowe’s is across the street from Wal-Mart.
There is just one gas station in the small town where I live. But- 2 small casinos !!!
I don’t live as rural as possible here in Nevada.
It is alot of chutzpah for any ‘Interior Secretary’ to be standing in THIS state and telling us about ‘changing our lives to suit the idea of green energy.
BTW- a large solar farm in S Nevada has been cancelled by a Chinese company. NO reason given.
A number of geothermal wells have been dug about 15 miles from me, and we were told that they would all be tied together & a power distribution station would be built near the same town as my bank. Suddenly, the plans for the power distribution station have been dropped without any explanation——but the geothermal wells are still being dug all over. A mystery.
So STUFF your ethanol, your windmills and all the rest. WE will make them if and when WE CHOOSE.
