Couldn’t find it online, but this reminds me of the Jimmy Carter era Oliphant cartoon featuring “thermostat police” barging into the home of an elderly couple. They had Nazi-like uniforms with armbands. Funny if it were not so true.
Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Obama
Playing shuffleboard in Ocean City, NJ last week. It used to be lit up at night every summer. We got there just before dusk. Waiting for the lights to come on when it started getting dark....nothing. Then one of the lights started to flicker for a few minutes like a cheap flashlight. The lights never came on full and we had to leave. Wouldn’t be so annoying if I didn’t know the public building sitting right next to it had millions of dollars worth of solar panels on it. What is the point? We are willingly turning into a third world country? Why?
And wear a Cardigan sweater too. Remember Jimma telling the folks that one?
