You have no idea just how bad quality is in either place. We suffer from it daily. You want just a high spec bolt coated with Xylan? The Chicoms will paint a turd blue and deliver it. It is up to you to catch it.
You want heat certs for those materials we delivered? OK, we do that, what you want it to say? We make for you just fine.
Every try to buy any bolts or screws at the hardware store that don’t twist off? I bought a box of stainless self-tapping screws to install some piano hinges. EVERY single one of them I tried to install twisted off and had to be extracted. Junk made in China.
If I need really good bolts, I go down the local Caterpillar dealer. They cost more, but you won’t twist ‘em off.
