HOUSTONOpening arguments were underway Wednesday in the trial of a woman accused of kidnapping and killing a 12-year-old Houston boy on Christmas Eve in 2010.
Mona Yvette Nelson was charged with capital murder in the death of Jonathan Foster. Nelson has chosen to be tried by a judge, not a jury. Her attorney said he advised her against it.
Police said the 44-year-old maintenance worker kidnapped and killed Jonathan, then burned his body. Nelson admitted to discarding the boys body, but said she did not kill him.
Wednesday was an emotional day in court as Jonathans mother took the stand.
Angela Davis fought back tears as she talked about the last time she heard her sons voice, on Christmas Eve 2010.
Davis was on the stand for nearly two hours.
But the one main question that everyone has been asking was not answered: Why did this happen?
Nearly three years later, in the trials opening statements attorneys said there is still no motive for the killing.
The big question that everybody has in this case is the Why?The motive behind this case and theres not going to be a motive. Youre not going to hear any evidence of that.
Im going to tell you the what that evidence will prove, said Assistant District Attorney Connie Spence.

Not a word from the national media --
I’m guessing that she’s an angry black lesbian who hates men.
Yet another example of the national media ignoring black on white crime - and this one is particularly evil.
I have no idea but I would think most lesbians were abused when they were children by older boys or adult men. The result is they hate men. Understandably so, IMO.
well, if looks can tell a story, it looks to me like this is a very strange woman....
Cue the standard liberal lawyer defense.
If you do a google search on
Mona Yvette Nelson Jonathan Foster
you will see what the media is deathly afraid of telling us.
The big question that everybody has in this case is the Why?The motive behind this case and theres not going to be a motive. “
Of course. All prosecutors are scared to death of saying what must be said.
THIS IS A HATE CRIME.
girls that are abused when they are children become very promiscuous and push the limits, often end up using drugs and alcohol....they'll be "exotic" dancers or half naked cocktail waitresses and finally , prostitutes..
they work out their hate for men by controlling them with their sex...and take drugs and alcohol to drown their sorrows....
think of that next time you think striping and prostitution is victim less.....the victim is the female..
:: Im guessing that shes an angry black lesbian who hates men. ::
On a related note, I can get you tickets for the upcoming WNBA season.
I fear this boy will be another innocent lamb sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.
Will the feral subhuman savage be brought to justice? Will the boy be accused of calling her a “bad word?” That of course would justify the cruel torture and murder.
Any t-shirts for sale? Are the phony revs going to do a war dance? Does anybody give a intercoursing excrement?
gays have a high preponderance for violence..
The police are ‘baffled’ as to the motive.
Hint: Feral subhuman savages are full of hate and anger. They murder for hate and fun.
And when you see what you get for your money you will know that you have been the victim of a hate crime.
The link at Post #2 has a list of her criminal history going back 27 years.
and because they can’t come up with a motive she will escape the death pernalty.
Do they know if she burned him to death, or she killed him and then burned him? I ask because all these articles I read imply that she killed him and then burned him, and I don’t think that’s being honest, if they don’t know how he was killed.
That depends. Ask Drew Peterson about how the courts can simply ignore constitutional safeguards regarding testimony and evidence to obtain a conviction.
We know why, it was a white boy.
There was a reason.
He was a white boy, and she hated.
She should burn.
