A new TV ad by Rocky Mountain Gun Owners slams Senate President John Morse for his labeling emails from constituents as toxic.
The one minute spot uses a clip from when Morse went on the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC during the gun control debate and proudly proclaimed that he was advising his caucus to stop reading their emails and vote for the gun bills.
Its the second ad from a Dudley Brown gun group, after a National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) ad ran last month.
Every major gun group, from the NRA to RMGO, was absent in getting the recalls on the ballot, but with Morse and Giron now facing recall elections they are starting to step up their involvement.
Ad video at link and here.
A thing to recall the next time some Brady drone bleats "It's the citizens versus the Gun Lobby." Wrong. It's political thugs versus the citizens.
Makes perfect sense. Let the locals get the recalls on the ballot - shows that they are serious and defuses the “wealthy outside interest” claims. Then they’ve proved they are serious, and gun rights groups can step up to help them as needed.
