Well THAT’S not gonna help stoke the class-warfare fire! Have these people arrested and “re-educated.”

If you had to be poor. Just didn't have any choice.

Would you rather be poor in Aspen of Mogadishu.

Only a brain dead zombie slave to blackula would pick Mogadishu!

Maybe so, and I have no argument with the premise that talent is rewarded. But it is discouraging and almost beyond belief the extent to which cheating is involved. Highly paid superstar athletes stick out, but so many of the financial types are criminals it makes you sick. And I do mean George Soros and Warren Buffet among others who have actually gotten caught.

inequality argument

Thomas Sowell surely explains it better but the missing aspect of any inequality discussion is that the people in the groups studied are rarely the same people studied over time.

Some thoughts on the subject.

Inequalities of outcome exist because of inequalities of effort. Thomas Sowell "A society that puts equality — in the sense of equality of outcome — ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of people who use it to promote their own interests." Milton Friedman

“The worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal.” Aristotle

“It is a wise man who said that there is no greater inequality than the equal treatment of unequals” Felix Frankfurter
