Muslims are well-intertwined in elite British society; the relationships between UK power people (the money people behind the government, or the "financial oligarchy") and Islam go back hundreds of years, during which time the oligarchy has been "operating" throughout the mid east.
I've postulated that perhaps it was the fact that
Dodi's uncle on his mother's side is one of the premier arms dealers of the world, with old ties to Western intelligence, may have made the relationship one that the oligarchy may not have wanted, seeing as how they'd rather that the arms dealers of the world stay out of high-profile public relations situations. Just an example to compare, what if a US President's daughter was marrying a man whose uncle was an arms dealer ? Would that be a bit too embarassing ? I don't know. Then again, maybe this was not it, maybe the accident was just an accident.
