Again you are mistaken Yosemitest. By saying God will not and never has forgiven the sin of homosexuality, you show that you do read the word, or else you would never make such a foolish statement.

Homosexuality is not a new issue; it has been known in every society that has ever existed. When the Christian faith spread to Greece it encountered a society that accepted homosexuality. However, God said it was not acceptable to Him. The apostle Paul made it clear that it is not possible to be both a Christian and a practicing sinner. Paul stated very clearly in his letter to the Corinthians, that just as thieves needed to stop stealing, murders needed to stop murdering, prostitutes needed to stop selling their bodies, men and women needed to stop practicing adultery and fornication, so too did homosexuals need to stop engaging in the practice of homosexuality which is wrong in God's eyes.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor ldolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminant (passive partner..r.f.), nor homosexuals (active partner..r.f.), nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers shall inherit the kingdom of God, And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.(I Corinthians 6:9-11).

Now you will notice that Paul pointed out how some of those he was writing to were once practicing in all sorts of sinful behavior God was against, including homosexuality. Yet he also pointed out that they stopped and repented of their sins. Thus they were washed by the blood of Christ, sanctified, and justified (just as if they had not sinned is what justified means.)

So, you can see that there is NO sin that the blood of Christ can not forgive. For more evidence, even Jesus Himself told His disciples that;

"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. "And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come," Matthew 12:31-32

You can plainly see that God does, has, and will continue to do so in the future, forgive all sins, but Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

As for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, that is for another lesson.

Yup, the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the forever rejection of the gospel.

It sure sounds like our brother Y. is sadly rejecting the gospel if not badly misinformed. He’s seeing Christ as some kind of ornament on the law rather than the furnisher of the power that conforms a person to Christ, a Christ who was God’s proof-of-concept to obedience to the law. The law was put there to show what sinful goof-ups we were, and the penalties prescribed “in the times of ignorance” that showed how displeased God was at such sins were lifted by Christ’s sacrifice. Colossians 2:14.

This is orthogonal to the issue of how an earthly government ought to be conducted, but a good one is one that gives ample room to the gospel to work. With some flaws, American law attempted to be that way because American culture was heavily based in gospel belief. It did not fully embrace gospel power, however, and where it failed disgrace came. To get off the hot button at hand, think about the infamous Salem witch trials. The gospel thing would have been first to approach the alleged witches and beseech them to accept Christ, or if they had, then to invite more of Christ’s power into themselves to deal with the evil spirits they were seemingly showing a preoccupation with. That didn’t happen. The enemy was treated from the word go as flesh and blood, contrary to the holy advice of Ephesians 6:12. The result was further discrediting of the gospel.
