One thing is certain: Axelrod didn't do the rest of us any favors . . .
On today's Morning Joe, after Joe Scarborough empathized at length, in the context of the Syrian situation, about what a lonely job President Obama has, David Axelrod actually had the chutzpah to say "there have been many days where I wonder, gee, I wonder if all of us who helped him get elected did him a favor."

Whether he did Obama a favor by getting him elected? How about whether he did the country a disservice by getting him elected?
Anyone who believes this crap is a fool.
This is the guy who was gloating a few days ago about how Obama asking Congress to OK the attack on Syria was a brilliant political move that put the Republicans on the spot (the dog that caught the car). Of course that was probably the main reason Obama decided to go to Congress—to be able to blame them for anything that goes wrong.
” Can he somehow blame Bush for getting him elected?”
Actually, sad as it is to say it, Bush was his primary reason for being elected the first time. At the end of the day, Bush wasn’t a particularly good president and he obviously inherited his father’s tin ear for politics. Sorry for him that he had 911, but what he did with it wasn’t good!

EVERY TIME HE SPEAKS....
WE MUST REMEMBER WHAT HE IS PAID TO SAY & ACCOMPLISH!!
Axle rod is more than that
He is a red born of reds
perks!....PERKS!!!! I am too through. smh
My only consolation last November was a sneaking suspicion that Obama didn’t really like the job of President very much (compared to just goofing off) and that he would have a long, miserable four years ahead.
