OAKLAND PARK, FL - About two months after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin, Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin's mother, is finding new ways to keep working against gun violence.

Sybrina Fulton was in Florida on Saturday giving away copies of a new Hip-Hop CD that she hopes will offer comfort to families affected by gun violence.

It's called "joy comes in the morning" - Fulton performs spoken vocals over music by a Christian Hip-Hop artist.....

It’s not like these people did not know that he died beating a man’s head on the concrete, that he was a lean drinker, marijuana smoker, jewel thief, and high school drop out.

All these things are public knowledge that they fought publicly to keep out of court. They act like because we kept it out of court then it just didn’t happen.

I think the name of his stepmother for some 12-13 years is Alicia Stanley.

She was upset that she was not seated with the family at the memorial for the little thug. Her seemingly positive involvement for those years did not fit the narrative. The kid seemed to go bad after the biological father broke up with Ms. Stanley and the thug ended up living with Sabrina and another relative.
