Libtalker Malloy Uses 9/11 Anniversary to Accuse Dick Cheney of Having Flight 93 Shot Down
NewsBusters ^

Liberal radio host Mike Malloy has made some truly asinine comments in his career, but what he said on the twelfth anniversary of 9/11 Wednesday truly takes the cake.

Discussing the tragic events of twelve years ago, Malloy said United Airlines Flight 93 was shot down over Pennsylvania with “orders from a bloodthirsty son of a bitch named Dick Cheney” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

MIKE MALLOY (11 September 2013): And that disappearing jetliner and all the disappearing bodies at the Pentagon, right? I'm sorry, I'm just no - and - in Pennsylvania? The conventional wisdom being that oh yeah, well the passengers tried to overtake or overcome the hijackers and everything crashed, when in fact I think even a cursory examination of that crash site, as spread out as it was, would indicate that that plane was shot down by a bloodthirsty, orders from a bloodthirsty son of a bitch named Dick Cheney!

So all of those phone calls from Flight 93 passengers to loved-ones - including from Todd Beamer! - were made up? They never happened?

It doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is the meta-truth. We conservatives better get used to fighting on this field.

Spread out? That plane practically drilled shaft into the ground and then blew everything straight up into a cloud of smoke and debris.

Mike Malloy needs to see a blinding flash. Once.

Malloy has forgotten the liberal talking point from 2001, that the true hero among the passengers on the flight was the gay guy.

The guy is a deranged liar?

And now he has six listeners who believe him. Do the math.

If I was in my 20’s, or even my thirties, I would be shocked and outraged at comments such as his.

Today, in my fifties, I don't. I don't because I have figured out that people like Malloy, who nobody has even heard of, say outrageous things to get people reacting and tuning in and thereby boosting his ratings

That bozo is totally wrong just about the crash. He says, “examination of that crash site, as spread out as it was,...”. I saw that site as soon as someone got there with a camera and that plane crashed down nose first and ploughed into the ground. The crash site was not spread out and very little was found remaining.

Way to go Maloy. The activist passengers on Flight 93 have been considered by many to be real selfless heroes. In one fell swoop, you have nullified their heroism, and gifted Dick Cheney with credit for a tough decision, it wouldn’t have been all that far out of line to have made.

Fortunately, he didn’t have to.

I would say you’re a real piece of work, but the word ‘work’ falls so short of what you’re a real piece of.

Old SNL skit with Buck Henry, who was a talk show host who couldn't get anyone to call in....so then he just starts saying things like "Soviet Communism -- Let's Give It a Chance"! "Killing Puppies -- It Doesn't Bother Me" . "Adolf Hitler -- Boy, Do We Need Him Now"!

Mike Malloy is a wack job of the highest order. I’m surprised there is a station left that would still have him on the air.

So what if he did?

Shoot it down over open land, everyone on board dies.

DON’T shoot it down, everyone on board still dies, and hundreds, possibly thousands or even tens of thousands in the target die as well.

Sometimes one simply must make the hard decision.

These people are certifiable.
They would project any lie to deflect from Libya, Egypt and Syria.

What would it matter? Though it’s awful to think about, if you were in the position to do so shooting it down would have been the right thing to do.

Uhmmmm .....

It hit the ground in one piece.

Had it been shot down it would come down in pieces .

THATS what Malloy would have preferred.

Does anyone else remember that several of the planes grounded on 9/11 had small groups of swarthy young men abandon their luggage, simply walk away from the airports, and utterly vanish into the woodwork?
