Gay marine bids farewell with show of support from colleagues [barf]
The Guardian ^ | Sept 11, 2013 | Amanda Holpuch

Bryan Eberly presented with rainbow flag as mark of service: 'It took everything in my power not to burst into tears'
.
.
.
He did not officially come out in the marines until repeal day, when he brought cupcakes into work and said: "Oh, by the way, I'm gay. Happy repeal day!" His announcement received nearly as big a reaction as the arrival of surprise cupcakes in the office.
.
.
.
The flag will be framed and put on the wall of his or his father's living room. When his dad first saw the photo of the flag, he said he was going to put a flagpole in the front yard so it could be flown, but plans have changed because the single-stitch flag can't withstand the elements.

Honored by the Marines for how he performs sex.

As we know now this is the most important aspect of one’s life in this day and age.

Really astounding.

You can’t be gay and a Marine.

It’s an Oxymoron.

It’s like saying you can be a Homosexual and be a Christian.

Sorry, direct opposites.

Just because the deviant-in-Chief, and his sycophants have (hopefully) temporarily allowed it, does not make it right, correct, or good.

This is actually a desecration of the flag. You might as well have the queer stripes on our national flag! Disgrace and dishonor.
I think we’d struggle to defeat the Jamaican military at this point, and they actually have to rent tanks.

He brought cupcakes, huh?

The article makes no mention of the people who were glad to see the queer leave.

This is not good for our military.

Just as a reminder, 8 repubs in Senate and 15 in the HR voted for this too. No major candidate is talking about repealing this either, not one.

Looks like the Marine's Hymn needs updated:

'If the Army or the Navy ever looked on Sodom's scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by the United States' queens'

puke.

No major candidate is talking about repealing this either, not one.

The 2012 GOP candidate had run on the issue to homosexualize the military, for 20 years.

Mitt Romney---"One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share."

I should have added that the rinos were late to support homosexualizing the military, the libertarians have always been for it, it is part of their ideology and named agenda.

1993: you’re banned from the military for being a homosexual.
2013: you’re banned from the military if you don’t celebrate homosexuality.
2033: God have mercy on us.
