[history]
WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) The gunman in the mass shootings at the Washington Navy Yard, Aaron Alexis, had a history of violent outbursts, was at least twice accused of firing guns in anger and was in the early stages of treatment for serious mental problems, according to court records and U.S. law enforcement officials.
But Alexis apparently managed to exploit seams in the nations patchwork of complicated gun laws designed to keep weapons out of the hands of dangerous people. He was able to buy a shotgun in Virginia with out-of-state identification, even though that would have prevented him from buying a handgun. [snip]

Maybe the feds can wage a War on Mass Shootings, just like they wage a war on drugs.
I’m betting it will be just as successful.

Could this "ritual" be perpetuated by the govt?
Or is that too "conspiratorial"?

How about a new debate—lets keep the flag at half mast for the rest of Obama’s term of ofice? Why bother to put old glory up to the top of the pole until the pretender is Gone!

What the 1986 Firearms Owners Protection Act did was it made it more convenient for gun buyers, said Kristen Rand, the legislative director at the Violence Policy Center. Thats the road weve been on for a while: The convenience of gun owner always seems to trump the right of victims not to be shot. I'm confused, aren't the gun owner and the would be victim the same person?

Only because they’re staging the shootings to terrorize the public into submission into agreeing to disarmament.

Obama said Tuesday he was concerned that an American ritual could emerge where every few months Sounds to me like the bastard is setting the stage for repeated events until he gets what he wants.
And those who see false flags and conspiracies are dismissed. Zero is darn near admitting he is setting this up.

Thats the road weve been on for a while: The convenience of gun owner always seems to trump the right of victims not to be shot. No the article is wrong. There is an absolute failure by government to provide the information that would have failed this shooter's background check. THAT IS THE WHOLE ISSUE NOW

Virginia gun laws require only that an out-of-state buyer show valid identification, pass a background check and otherwise abide by state laws in order to buy a shotgun in the state. Only that, huh? Why, that's hardly anything. Morons. Does anybody have the capacity for critical thought any more?
Alexis was never prosecuted for the two misdemeanors involving guns.
Anybody else see the problem here? (Hint - gun laws weren't effective the first two times he acted out).

It's unlikely, since mass shootings are about 0.1% of all homicides.
If they actually wanted to do something, they would ask about the characteristics and motives behind the other 99.9% of homicides.

He's priming the pump for the upcoming holidays (aka "the silly season"), which seem to kick off earlier every year. The Regime is most certainly waiting in anticipation of utilizing any and all crackups to drag their agenda over the finish line. Be vigilant everyone.

Something was very peculiar about the TIMING of Newtown. That happened only a few weeks after OTrauma's election and only two weeks before Christmas. I had this sinking feeling in my gut, just a gut feeling, that it was a total setup.
I didn't have that same feeling for the Navy Yard shooter, and the facts bore that out. The insane guy went in with a shotgun, not the Weapon(s) of Choice for the antigunners -- the Glock and/or the AR-15. Further, the insane guy was black, and that also didn't fit the desired narrative. It always has to be a crazy WHITE guy.
So Navy Yard, I feel in my gut, was likely not orchestrated. I do not feel the same about Newtown. That one feels like a setup by the government.
