Yes, but we are talking 60 years ago now. Stuff leaks by that time, or gets stolen by the enemy.

If the objective is mind control, and they were successful, who would tell?

Not to mention that anyone who did would be ridiculed and end up on Alex Jones trying to get the story out (because no one else would cover it).

Crap! We can't get the media to cover Benghazzi, Fast and Furious, or a host of other juicy Pullitzer fertile stories, what makes you think they would cover anything as far out as the government playing some games with your head?

Just think of the possibilities! You could calm p-o'ed commuters with a broadcast, or plant subliminals in their teevee or on their cell comms (they ARE listening in, what's the next step?). Even the idea that mind control is impossible. But we know it isn't because "they" told us so, right?

Now, I'm not saying it exists or it doesen't, but I won't summarily dismiss the possibility.

Some days it seems like we're living in the movie They Live, but I can't find my sunglasses. Haven't you noticed the stuporous behaviour of large segments of the population which might be inclined to watch Oprah re-runs? Maybe there is a signal in the feed...

re: mind control

I'm not talking about anything sophisticated, really.

Haven't you ever noticed even amongst friends and family, that a person can hear the same thing over and over and soon they start to parrot it ?

Simple repitition.

Some people are very suggestive.

Some drugs put people in a very suggestive state.

I came across an unverifiable story of how a guy was drugged, then filmed having gay sex. After he was shown the video, he was completely controllable.

That is very, very simple, no magical mystery stuff.

Whether that specific case is actually true or not - it simply highlights the fact that people can often be manipulated in similar ways. Most people do not sit around and dream up such evil ways of controlling people - so it's difficult for most people to get their mind around such techniques being used by "conspirators".

In fact, however, very strong manipulation happens every day all over the place in male-female relationships where one or the other is an intense manipulator.

As far as mind control of the public - that's what the news media is ! Look at your local newspaper. All it probably talks about is "let's pay those teachers, do it for the kids" - over and over for decades. It's repeated so often that most people think we need to spend more on public schools, even as they cost 2 or 3 times what a good private school costs. Mind you, even people you think are "unaffected" by the propaganda will often just be unable to resist the charms of their local news media in print and on TV. They will be just about in love with TV on-air personalities, thinking them above reproach.

Mind control in movies or video games ? Crazy ? No, subliminal influences in print and on screen are a common technology, but you have to study the field of marketing to learn about what's going on in the field today. I don't have the time, but I know over the last century there have been a lot of advancements. Of course, if the reader is interested enough, they should research this topic on their own.

Does the CIA have dark projects that are not even on their books ? Did they continue projects that they said they abandoned in this way ? Well, if they'd give LSD to unsuspecting people, their morals would certainly not prevent them from doing this. And see, why it's key to realize that the "financial oligarchy" was behind British and US intelligence from their outset, they certainly would have access to resources, facilities, money, etc., to carry on programs in the "private sector" once the CIA has to officially abandon them. This is not to say that I have evidence of this, but the astute reader will simply note that it is well within the realm of possibility, and if the program is yielding benefits to "the oligarchy", they certainly would have a motive to continue them. For example, if the oligarchy elites wanted to promote occasional domestic terror acts in order to develop support for gun confiscation and expand the powers of government police authority, the occasional nutcase would serve their purposes quite well.

Just to get a handle on a brief overview of some "wayward" CIA activity, I include the following links - let the curious reader continue from there:
