The Republicans need to point out that Obama has already postponed the company mandate, issued many waivers...yada, yada.

If this is the so-called law of the land, what right does the President have to implement only those parts that do not displease his donors.

And what about those congressional staffers now exempt from this?

If this is the law of the land, what right does Obama have to only put into effect those parts that please him?

I don’t see many Republicans reporting this truth.

Britt Hume, Mike Wallace....they just roll with the Blue Blood Republicans....the hell with what the MAJORITY of America wants.

Here’s how to explain it....

...a couple of months ago Rand Paul stood at a filibuster in the senate because the administration would NOT admit that they’d never authorize a drone to spy on an American citizen.

Paul had a couple of supporters but mostly he did it himself.

Now Rand Paul did not HAVE to do this. He could have taken no action and no doubt had their been weeks to discuss this action the fine, fine Karl Roves of the world would have dismissed it as silliness...ineffective.

and yet, my lying ears heard Eric Holder, the finest AG this country has ever had, pressured to admit publicly that no, America would not target its citizens via drone without any court order.

Why did this happen?

Because of Paul’s action which caused Americans, NOT the political elite who could care less about us, to stop and scratch heads and wonder, well WHY don’t the administration just say it for God’s sake.

This happen because a Republican legislator DID something.

so now the Republican legislators are doing something and I know what Cruz is doing is what the American people want.

Now we know who belongs solidly to our political class and who does not.

I will not ever support a single one of them out lambasting this action.

THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING!!

So Cruz does and he’s pilloried endlessly.

they all make me ill.

Republicans continue to have the same nagging problem they have had for decades -- they can't seem to find a way to voice their opposition.

Every time one gets on the news media, he/she is shot down by the opposition (media and/or Dems).

The Republicans do not know how to package an effective counter-message.

They will never be able to do that until they decide what they actually do stand for. In the last 2+ decades, they have 'stood' for very little and have gone along to get along. They like 'minority' status -- they don't have to work as hard, they still get a turn at the money troughs, and they get to meet their friends-from-across-the-aisle at the bar for drinks after a hard day of playing the opposition.

NO matter how the debt ceiling winds up Ted Cruz is going to end up as the leader of the party, IMHO when its all over. He's a hero, has guts and is unafraid to take on anyone/ anybody.

While I may not agree with his strategy 100% I will support him 1,000 % should he run for potus.

Good points all. They need to be repeated over and over again.

This happen because a Republican legislator DID something. 100% correct.

Our glorious constitution allows almost unlimited protection for ANY politician who's ACTIONS represent the WILL of the people.

Filibusters SHOULD be rare...but, when the people are ON you side? They can be extremely effective.

ObamaCare was MADE for a filibuster!

GO CRUZ!!!

I am in total agreement with you.

Liberals, Hume, Rove, McCain, and ALL other Republican elites, it IS real simple:

Do you agree with Obama that ObamaCare is NOT ready for prime time, hence so many unilateral, dictatorial delays/waivers?
Do you support the redefinition of the full time work week, i.e. the new 30 hour work week?
Do you support the employer penalty of $2,000 per employee vs. the cost of health care insurance that costs well over $2,000 per employee?
Do you support ALL the new taxes under ObamaCare?
Do you support the hiring of 16,000 NEW IRS agents sent to destroy employers and pester voters, many YOUR constituents?
Do you support the Death Panel?
Do you support the 40% excise tax on early retirees’ health care insurance?
Do you support the 40% excise tax on union members’ health care insurance?
Do you support the Data Mining of the FEDRAL Government under ObamaCare?
Do support ACORN Navigators advising people on ObamaCare?
If you do, then vote with the Democrats. If not vote with Cruz.

IT IS THAT EASY!
