59 killed in Kenya mall attack, 49 missing

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — The Kenyan military remained in a tense standoff with Islamic extremists Sunday, as the toll rose to 59 dead, including children, and 175 wounded in the attack at an upscale mall, a Kenyan minister said.

Multiple barrages of gunfire erupted Sunday morning from inside the building where hostages are being held by militants. The radicals attacked the mall Saturday and remained inside throughout the night.

Kenya's Red Cross said in a statement citing police that 49 people had been reported missing. Officials did not make an explicit link but that number could form the basis of the number of people held hostage.

The tax-free Barack H. Obama foundation, fast-tracked by Lois Lerner for IRS tax-exempt status, is based at a Virginia UPS store, according to its website. The organization’s IRS filings list another Falsely give a Virginia address that is actually a drug rehab center where the foundation does not appear ever to have been based.

As first reported by The Daily Caller, the foundation was speedily approved for IRS exemption by Lois Lerner, the self-same IRS senior official at the center of the targeting of conservative organizations that have waited over two years to receive tax exempt status. The IRS thoughtfully gave Obama Foundation retroactive fund-raising status.......which it stupidly never applied for.

The foundation’s (cough) mission statement is “to provide people everywhere with resources to uplift their welfare and living standards in memory of dad---Barack H. Obama: in the region of his birth, Kenya, and beyond.” Its guiding principle is “the inherent belief that no one can truly enjoy the riches he has reaped if his neighbor suffers....."We seek to elevate the human condition so that everyone can live in dignity and truly enjoy having one another as neighbors.”

Despite raising more than $250,000, the alleged charity doesn’t seem to have done much. Its website claims the organization has built a Muslim madrassa and was building an imam’s house as well as some “proposed latrines,” but there is no other evidence that the nonprofit was working to “mitigate social-shortcomings in areas of education and literacy, health and well-being, poverty, and lack of community infrastructure in such basic needs such as water, electricity, shelter and sustenance,” as the site says.

Alton Ray Baysden, a former Dept of State employee, allegedly a registered Republican, who helped start the Barack H Obama foundation, declined to comment before seeing copies of a reporter’s passport and govt ID, along with a description of the article’s “motivation” and “slant.”

Repeated reporters' phone calls went to the organization’s voicemail and were not returned.

I believe the current Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta, is a Catholic. He’s very anti-muslim terrorist and has been fighting al shabab, that’s why the group targeted Nairobi.

The problem with their government - and I think one of the things that has encouraged AQ - is that Obama essentially forced Kenya to appoint Odinga as “co-president.” He was the Muslim loony candidate for whom Obama had campaigned, but he lost anyway and then his followers rioted, killing Christians and causing havoc. So the “solution” was to create a new position for Odinga which essentially amounted to “co-president,” although he did not have that title.

There was a more recent election, which Odinga also lost, and while this time there was less rioting, Odinga did say that “there will be consquences.” He’s supposedly a big supporter of some sheik who is involved in the violence in Somalia, hence, in al Shabaab (the group responsible for this latest attack).

I wish the extent of Obama’s involvement in all this would be made clear by the US news media, but I guess that’s a futile wish. Not that any of his followers here would care anyway.
