I would have stood up and said they should let him speak, likely I would have been taken to jail with him. I did speak up one night at a school board meeting when the board refused to let a lady speak because she was not on the agenda. They told her after they adjourned the meeting she could speak and then they started leaving as soon as they adjourned. I told them in a loud voice that they needed to hear what the lady had to say and they sat back down and listened.

Most the time they will stay and listen but only if people there don't stand for the
authoritarian process rules implemented to protect their own jobs. The fact that
they went to the card-question control should be enough to vote them out.
I would have stood up and shouted at the members to listen and stop the officer. Nuts.
