The record crowd that is expected to attend the U.S. Naval Academy – U.S. Air Force Academy football game in Annapolis, Md., Saturday may be in for a huge disappointment.
The Department of Defense announced today that all intercollegiate athletic competitions at the service academies have been suspended due to the federal government shutdown.

It looks like Barry the Kenyan and Rimshot Joe Biden are going to be shorted a phony photo op.
The king and the queen might have to share the same plane the next time they fly to Europe for another vacation.
This decision will cost the military millions of dollars in ticket and advertising revenue and will not save a dime.

The Naval Academy athletic program is largely funded by the Naval Academy Athlectic Assoc. which does not receive government funds. This is spite.

So the people are being deprived of one the circuses. I have thought for years that such emotional investment in football is a problem in the South and undermines the cohesion of white males. It’s a distraction in these days when their attentions and loyalties need to be elsewhere.
