Someone asked me earlier in the week about DC fountains. The one in front of the White House is on. The one at the #WWIIMemorial is off.
So, the fountain at the WWII Memorial will now silently reflect their faces.
Run silent. Run deep.
There are, after all, a number of young men and women sitting at the bottom of the oceans.
Let us remember them, too.

How low can they go? You democrat voters must be so proud.
On the plus side: these low-life scum-bag tactics against elderly heroes who fought to defend this nation, and what it stands for, are showing the American people what the democrat party is really about.

This all started when democrats, and only democrats, shoved through a so-called healthcare bill of over 10,000 pages, that no one bothered to read.
The bill was so wonderful many in the big business world screamed, and demanded, and were granted, exemptions and extensions from this fabulous healthcare bill no one read.
The politicians thought the bill was so great, that they exempted themselves from it too.
When it was close to the time for the unread bill to be implemented, the paid-$70,000-plus-a-year congressional staff people went crying to the politicians, and threatening to quit their jobs, saying that it (healthcare bill) was going to cost them too much money to have to get. The politicians give them relief, by granting them 72% taxpayer funded subsidies to cover their costs.
Now, the American people are granted no exemptions, no extensions, from this obviously full-of-problems health bill, that no one read. And while the $70,000+ a year congressional staffers can't afford the bill, the people are now expected to pay not just for themselves, but also for the subsidies the congress staffers are getting.
This doesn't even cover the millions of other problems i.e the IRS in charge of your healthcare, privacy issues, the people being forced into part time employment exc...
This is why there was a filibuster by Ted Cruz and a handful of others.
The shutdown is because of the democrats trying to force this unconstitutional P.O.S. bill on the people. A bill that they exempted themselves from.
I hope the jellyfish in the congress will remember what this is about, and grow a spine, as the 80 and 90 year old WWII vets are rolling up in their wheelchairs to retake their memorial back from the Marxists trying to keep them out.
