Imagine a group of WWII vets being arrested for trying to visit the memorial! Does President Obama really want that public relations nightmare on his hands? Let’s hope so!
It's all about the spin. The MSM will report that despite all of Obama's best efforts, the GOP has shut down the government. And it is the shutdown that has closed parks. Therefore, the GOP is to blame for closing the WW II memorial.
The VFW and the American Legion need to step up, and right now. Perhaps also the Vietnam and Iraqi vet groups. America has trust in those organizations, and will listen.
Imagine all the folks arrested for not signing up for the un-affordable care act. FEMA camps anyone? (If they really exist?!)
