The attackers yelled at the entire group and not just at this guy. One of the attackers supposedly “bumped into” the victim as they were leaving, and then the kid fell over as the car sped away. The victim probably happened to be in a vulnerable position - perhaps at the end of the group of his buddies - and may not have been very aggressive. Also, he’s extremely “white” looking.
Sorry, you may be defending their killing him because you think he was gay, but that’s not okay, even if you have proof that he was a drug-using homosexual (which I doubt).
I have respected your posts in the past and I can’t believe you’re doing the Freeper blame-the-victim thing here.
I’m not blaming the victim, just pointing out that the obvious assumption may not be the correct one this time. Here are some objective possibilities.
1) If they were in the same unit, they might have known each other. This is TBD, but is essential to know.
2) Were any of the above investigated by the CID? If any of the involved were under suspicion, it could change things. Again TBD.
3) Any gang involvement inside or outside of the Army? The West Coast is rife with all sorts of gangs, and there is known to have been infiltration into the military.
4) And, of course, the toxicology tests during autopsy.
Occam’s razor suggests it is a race thing. However, there are some loose ends that need to get answers before we know for sure.
