On Friday, after blaming conservatives like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for the Obama administration's mishandling of military death benefits, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said Cruz simply did not represent the GOP.
Fox News host Martha MacCallum mentioned that Cruz would be visiting President Barack Obama along with other Republican senators like Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) at the White House on Friday.
She asked McCain, "How do you feel about him representing you there?"
In response, McCain smirked before saying, "First of of all, Martha, please, he's not representing us there."
Also in the interview, McCain said conservatives were as much to blame for the problem regarding the military death benefits as Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

I promised never to give money to the GOP years in the last millennium. Individual candidates, yes, but the party never.
Who the Hell do you mean by us, John?
Al Qaeda?
You rotten, traitorous bastard.
McCain is absolutely correct.
Being as McCain defines 'us' as globalists, jihadists, Marxists, and those who hate America, Cruz is definitely 'not representing us'.
Good Lord, McCain is such an a$$hole.
McCain is too far gone to realize this short statement confirms everything we’ve been saying about him.
Cruz has it right, and McCain can’t even comprehend that fact.
Yep John, you’re a Leftist Democrat and Cruz does not represent you.
He most certainly does represent us.
Switch parties today you Ted Kennedy clone.
I am sick and tired of both John Mc Cain AND Cruz. These guys both pop up on TV everytime there is a camera. They are both “show boaters” whose only interest is promoting themselves.
How does one lead from the shadows?
You said; “Does John McCain now support repealing the 17th amendment?”
Good One ... BTW I’m near Flat Rock, until I head west to Kalifornia this spring ... I’m in a northern county and red as hell. In the new state of Jefferson. lol
No he isn’t mcbunghole... HE IS NOT A RAT BASTARD LIKE YOU!
Strong silent types seem to be more effective than the Chucky Schumers of the world who is closely followed by Mc Cain and Cruz.
At some point, she must speak out against him. Anyone holding their tongue against McCain is defacto in support of him.
What McAlqueda really means is that Cruz won’t go along with continually betraying the GOP.
It’s a foreign concept to McCain, because Cruz is representing his constituents, the Constitution, and the best interests of the American people. McCain, never known for his intellectual prowess, limits his representation to his fellow country clubbers in the Senate.
Your right, John McSwine, he doesn’t represent you. What represents you is a nut house and a funny farm. You need to get out while you still have any dignitiy left.
He’s representing me just fine. So STFU, John.
I don’t think any American sends their Senator or Congressman to Congress to represent their party. That comment was so dissonant I can’t believe how tone deaf Mr. McCain is, just incredible
Switch parties you loser.
